Meetup/Mashupup

On May 4th from 12-5 p.m., the CommunityOne team is hosting a Meetup/Mashup at the Moscone Center to help local non-profit companies harness the web to help make their organizations more effective. We are working with NetSquared, a non-profit based in San Francisco, to put this event on in support of their ongoing project http://www.netsquared.org/mashup. By joining this event developers will be working with non-profit organizations on a range of challenges including:

-- Refining some of their ideas about how the data they are using could be rendered in mashups

-- Building mashups using a variety of APIs, products, or coming up with creative technical solutions to particular problems they are facing

This event will give developers an opportunity to direct their talent and programming skills, see how others are using technology to enact positive social change and meet some passionate people working to make the communities where we live and work a better place.
